I saw this tutorial online a while back and finally was able to get one completed! I thought it would be a great treat for leaving on a teacher’s door, or even a friend’s door! It works great for just one of those…..just because…..gifts!
I found this tutorial on Andrea Walford’s website.
I changed the scale of this treat box. The original tutorial is based on a 12″ piece of cardstock. I chose to use an 8-1/2 x 11 piece so I had to alter the dimensions. I’ll post those at the bottom!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Always, Punchy Words-Gina K, Leaf Prints Wheel
Paper: Celery, Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink
Ink: Celery, Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink, White Gel Pen
Accessories: Box Template, Corner Rounder, Dimensionals, Circle Punch, Craft Knife
Here is an image of the template I will list below the measurements I used!
The numbers across the top of the template are the ones to use if using a 12 x 9-1/2″ piece of cardstock. Those number are:1-1/2″, 3″, 6-1/2″, 8″
The horizontal measurements are 4-3/4″ and 3-1/4″. You score your carstock on all those measurements and cut away the gray areas. Also cut in on the red lines. Fold and adhere together! Decorate however you want.
Since I used and 8-1/2 x 11″ piece of carstock I had to alter the numbers. My measurements are the ones across the bottom. They are scoring at: 1″, 2-1/2″, 6″, and 7-1/2″. I still kept the horizontal measurements the same. If you have any questions, leave me a comment and ask. I will try to explain/answer it the best I can!!
Enjoy Your Day!
