CC129 & SC139

Sc139_cc129_mrThis is the final product of the SCS Sketch Challenge 139 and Color Challenge 129.

I was wanting to find some patterned paper in my stash that might work with this challenge.  I found this scrap of striped paper that I thought would work well.  The colors used on this card are Purely Pomegranate, Old Olive, Pretty In Pink and white.   I used my markers to color in the flower stamp.  The small flower stamp was stamped in pretty in pink first and rolled the edges around in purely pomegranate.  That technique is called Rock and Roll!
The circle punches I used were the 1-3/8", 1-1/4", and the 1".  The top circle image is up on dimensionals and the whole stack is up on a dimensionals.
All of the edges were sponged with the appropriate color.

Until Next Time….Happy Creating!!!

I’m not sure why I didn’t notice this until today, but in my Creating Keepsakes email that I get, there was a link to a new product video and that led to several videos!  There is a new product called Ribbon Stiffener made by Strano that allows you to use your punches or die cuts to cut those extra scraps of ribbon!  If you check out this video, it will show you how!  What a great idea…..no more wasted ribbon!!

Until Next Time….Happy Punching!!!

Triple Challenge Card…

Cammie_by_mrThis card incorporates 3 different SCS Challenges.  The first one is LSC 121 (Limited Supply Challenge) which was to use a stamp that hasn’t been used in a long time.  The second one is WT118 (Ways to Use It) which was to make a square card, and FS29 (Featured Stamper) was Cammie.  For a featured stamper, you need to browse their gallery and find a card that inspires you and case (copy and share everything) it!  I chose to use this card for my inspiration.  Cammie has an amazing gallery.  You should stop by and check it out some time.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Hedgehog Happiness
Card Stock:  Black, POP Amethyst, DCWV Nana’s Kids DP
Ink:  Prismacolor pencils and gamsol
Accessories: Ticket corner punch, Brads

Until Next Time….Happy Creatings!!!

Here is the cutest baby video I have ever seen!  The funniest too!  Actually it reminds me of when my son Joshua was little, he used to do the same thing.  All I had to do was point at him and he would laugh and laugh.  It started with me saying to him, "What are you doing?" in a very funny voice and pointing at him.  Anyway, this baby is hilarious and if you need a little pick-me-up this is the video for you!!
