Dsc06045_2When I first saw this wheel, I knew I had to get it.  I knew that it would go really well with the Loads of Love set.  So here is my card with the new Neighborhood wheel and the Loads of Love set.
I used Bordering Blue card stock for the card.   I colored the houses with markers.

Tonight we took the kids down to the school and let them ride their bikes on the trail.  They played on the playground equipment too.  It was nice to have them blow off some steam!!!  Looking forward to my week alone….2 days and counting!!!!

Until Next Time….Happy Stamping!!!

Another Busy Week and Card!

Another SU! Doodle This card.  I also used the SU! set Priceless.
The paper colors are Wasabi, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, and  White.  The ink colors are the same as well, plus Marigold.  The background paper is from the Petals and Paisley DP.  I used the ticket punch for the corners and my Marvy Giga scalloped circle punch.  The stamp doodles on the scalloped circle are from Gina K!

This summer just doesn’t slow down one bit!!  We returned from Iowa on last Sunday night and Monday I babysat for a friend all day.  Tuesday I had the day at home to try to catch up from being out of town.  Needless to say, I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped for!  On Wednesday, my friend from Atlanta was in town so we spent the day with them.  Thursday I had a Dr. Appt and got groceries and ran errands, and Friday I took the kids to T-Rex and spent the afternoon with them.  Friday night I had some friends over to stamp, and Saturday my sister and her kids and also my cousin came down!!!  I have company until Thursday!  Today we took the kids to Kaleidescope at Crown Center and they had a lot of fun.  Tonight we cleaned off the deck that had two LARGE bushes that we had cut down and hadn’t taken away yet.  WOW!  I think tomorrow we will go get rid of the brush and hopefully soon will clean the deck and get it stained again.

Apparently I don’t have any time to stamp right now!  Maybe the week my kids are gone.  I do have to babysit twice that week though!! OK, Maybe once the kids are back in school!!! 🙂

Until Next Time…I hope you have fun stamping!!!

I was just checking out Nichole’s Blog {Capture the Moment} and she has posted the new die cuts that they will be taking pre-orders for.  Many of you are having a hard time finding the Marvy Giga punches that everyone is using.  This might be an alternate idea for you.  Especially if you have a Cuttlebug or other die cutting machine.  Here is the link to her post describing the sizes and cost of these new die cuts! —-> Nestabilities Die Cuts!

Until Next Time….Happy Shopping!!!

Going Braddy!

As I mentioned, SCS is currently issuing challenges from the Dirty Dozen members.  Here was one of the challenges issued for Wednesday.  This challenge was from texasjodylynn who is a Dirty Dozen Alumni. Her challenge was to bathe your card in brads.  Here is mine!
The paper is from DCWV called Nana’s Kids.  It has some REALLY CUTE paper in it.
I used brads in the center of each flower and also added them across the top in some of the polka dots.  If you haven’t checked out the challenges, you should!

Until Next Time….Happy Creating!!!

In case you have forgotten…..SCS is having their Fan Club challenges.  It started on Wednesday the 25th and will run through the 31st.  You have to be a Fan Club Member to participate.  You will find the challenge forum listed under Dare to Get Dirty ’07!
If you are not currently a Fan Club Member, you can find that information here!
I hope you have time to participate.  It’s a lot of fun to be both challenged and inspired by the SCS Design Team!!  There aren’t any deadlines on when you have to have your challenge done, so participate when you can.  I have been extremely busy this week and haven’t even had a chance to check them out myself!  I’m going to though!!!

Until Next Time…Happy Creating!!

School, Already??

It’s hard to believe that my kids will be back in school as of Aug 16th.  That just seems so early.  Of course the first couple weeks after school got done, I thought I was going to pull my hair out!!  After that first couple of weeks, I can’t remember anything!!  The time has gone so fast.  It has helped that we have spent some time in Iowa this summer visiting family and friends.

I was just thinking about how long it’s been since I’ve posted a tutorial or something like that.  I haven’t forgotten about my list, it’s just been too hard with the kids home.  Hopefully once school starts back up, I will have more time to get back to the tutorials.

Since I’ve been drooling over Nichole’s craft space, I keep trying to figure out how to make mine even better.  Everything takes so much $$!!  I would like to make my space a little more user friendly.  I love the cabinets that I have, but there is still so much to find a place for!!

Card For Dad!

Dsc06041I hadn’t used this set for a long time.  The reason I bought it was because my dad is a farmer!  Sometimes I purchase things just for sentimental reasons!  I know that doesn’t always make for good financial sense, but it makes me think of my Dad!  I’m going to send this to my dad, now that I have it posted.  He has been working some LONG hours lately!
This is a retired set from Stampin Up! called On The Farm.  I used my SU 3/4" and 1" circle punches for the animals.

Until Next Time….Happy Creating!!!
