In case you have forgotten…..SCS is having their Fan Club challenges.  It started on Wednesday the 25th and will run through the 31st.  You have to be a Fan Club Member to participate.  You will find the challenge forum listed under Dare to Get Dirty ’07!
If you are not currently a Fan Club Member, you can find that information here!
I hope you have time to participate.  It’s a lot of fun to be both challenged and inspired by the SCS Design Team!!  There aren’t any deadlines on when you have to have your challenge done, so participate when you can.  I have been extremely busy this week and haven’t even had a chance to check them out myself!  I’m going to though!!!

Until Next Time…Happy Creating!!

We start the submissions of favorite color combos with Stacey.  Her color combo is Apricot Appeal, Pink Passion and Black.  She did the faux shaving cream technique on the big blossom with the Apricot and Pink Passion.  Great Job!  Thanks for participating!

This card was made by Jodene.  She likes the color combo of Chocolate Chip and Tempting Turquoise.  This was a card that she made for her Brother’s Wedding Reception.  Great Job!  She apologizes for the blurry picture, but she is still learning how to use her digital camera!!!

This color combo was mentioned by another post but no card was submitted.

These 3 entries were from Lisanna.  Her favorite color combo is Pink and Brown!  Very Nice!!  Thanks for the 3 submissions, you’ve been busy!  I hadn’t done much with Pink and Brown until I did that 12×12 OSW.  I thought the colors looked very nice together. Thanks Lisanna for playing!! You can check out her blog here, but you have to be able to read in Italian!! 🙂  I checked it out, it’s beautiful, even though I couldn’t read it!!

Here is is!  This round of Blog Candy includes 1. SU Hostess set titled Reason To Smile, 2. One set of clear stamps, 3. Spool of large sheer ribbon, 4. Spool of smaller sheer ribbon and 5. Hemp Cord

To enter to win, you must leave a comment here, and tell me about your favorite color combination to use.  It can be in scrapbooking or card making.

Create a card or layout with those colors and email me a copy!  I will post these popular color combos and the submissions to go with them!  It’s kind of a challenge and a giveaway all in one!

Your submissions need to be emailed to me by June 4th!  That gives you the weekend to work on them!  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Putting together colors has been another one of my challenges in this hobby!  I’m not really the "creative type", but I’m great at CASING!  I haven’t done as much casing lately, as I’m getting better at putting things together on my own.  But that’s hard when you don’t have a creative brain!  I really enjoy the process of card making and find it relaxing, when I’m not in a RUT!  Well, right now I feel like I’m in a rut, so the color combos will be beneficial to me and when I post the submissions, I hope they will be beneficial to others as well!

Thank you, my faithful readers!  My goal for next week is to put together another tutorial from your suggestions offered previously!

Until Next Time….Happy Creating!!!
