Mrs. Frankie and Frosty…

After I finished Frankie yesterday, I knew I really wanted to complete a candy bar wrapper and then make a Frosty with the same concept. I first saw Frosty on Dawn’s blog. Dawn also made the Frankie candy bar wrappers!! She’s been busy getting ready for their fall party. Here’s mine! I decided that Frosty needs some Holly on his hat, but I don’t think I have anything like that. I’ll have to look later when my basement is more in order!! I still need to replace 2 of my cabinets so I don’t have things put away yet because there isn’t any place to put them!!

I’m not sure what size Dawn made her snowman card, but mine measure’s 3-1/2″ x5-1/2. I used my 1/2″ circle punch for his mouth. The eyes are made from the 1″ circle punch and the 1-3/8″ circle punch. The nose is 1/2 of a circle punched with the 1-3/8″ circle punch!

Until Next Time, Happy Creating!!

Tag Punch Flower….

This past week has been quite challenging.  We had a great weekend and then Sunday night my daughter was up coughing all night.  I suspected it was her allergies because she had spent the whole weekend outside.  We went to the Dr. on Monday afternoon and found out she had Croup!  YUCK!  It has been a rather sleepless week for all of us.  Tuesday night was a little better so I figured we were on the upward swing.  Then last night was awful!  Today she seems a little better, and I sure hope so since we are supposed to go out of town tomorrow!!!  The last time we went to Branson, we ended up coming home because she was sick.  That must be a place that we are suppose to avoid!!!  Makes ya wonder!  We are going with our Pastor and his wife to a conference called WorldView Weekend.  It should be really good!  I just hope I don’t get stuck in the hotel for the whole weekend!

With all that said, I haven’t had much creative time!  I got my new cuttlebug stuff last week and wanted to play with it, but that hasn’t really been the case!  I also have been working at the preschool and will be there until the end of the school year. That take a bite out of the creative time as well!  Yesterday I managed to get 1 card done!

Tag_flower
This is one of the new Cuttlebug embossing folders that I got.  It is called Traffic.

I saw a card yesterday that was made using the tag punch (you can use the regular or the small tag punch for this) and so I decided I could find time to make one of those!

The paper is Gable Green and the DP is from the Spring Mini, and it’s called Petals and Paisleys.

I stamped "adorable" from the Warm Words set and put it on with hodgepodge hardware and pink ribbon.  The ribbon in the picture looks white, but it is really light pink.

I won’t be back online until next week after we get back from our trip!  Have Fun and make a tag flower!

Here are the directions for the folds.  They were put together by Laurie Lenertz.

This was fun and easy, give it a try!  Until Next Time……Happy Creating!!!
