One of the things that I struggle with the most, but love to use is Bows. I sometimes waste a lot of ribbon trying to get it just right. I am always on the look out for bow tying videos. Here is one by Gina K. It is about 8 minutes long, but she has some great bow tips! Enjoy!

Here is another one that is quite unique! Have you ever tied a bow using a fork?? Well, if you haven’t, then you need to check out this one too!

I saw this card box on Holly McMillen’s blog called Toy’s Haven.  She also put together a tutorial for this box.
This is another project that I worked on over Spring Break. I stamped the floral image onto my white cardstock and then placed the vellum over the top.  The sentiment is stamped in black on the vellum layer.

Here is my double challenge card for this last week.  I have been wanting to use my Scor-Pal to make  this patterned background, and this was the perfect card to do that with.  Adding a similar patterned paper just brings it all together.  Here is the sketch for this last week.

The Color Combo for this week was Basic Grey, Black, Pomegranate and white.  I tied them all together and this is what I came up with.

Tea Bag Holder Card…

Here is my card for this last week’s Technique Challenge on SCS. This week we were supposed to make a tea bag holder card. I have seen these many times, but had never made one myself. What a great time to do so!

The inspiration for the color scheme was from the ribbon. I found that ribbon at Michaels for $1 and thought it was very cute! It is a light celery, gray and blue.

The pattern I used for this card can be opened with this file.

It is about time to get working on some Christmas cards.  I’ve made one here and there, but I haven’t really gotten serious about getting "volume" created.  This week’s color challenge was to use Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White.  I have been waiting, not so patiently, to use this All About Christmas Wheel.  I ordered the wheel specifically to use with my Christmas cards but then couldn’t find my jumbo wheel handle.  I had looked everywhere!  I finally decided that I should just order another one.  I hate to do so, because I knew that I had one somewhere.  Of course, the best way to find anything, is to order another one!  As soon as I placed this last order, guess what I found??  You guessed it!  Now I will have an extra jumbo handle.  Oh well, I guess I have another one for the next time I can’t find it!!!  (unless they both hide together!)  Here is my Color Challenge card!

I started with a Wild Wasabi card base and I swiped it with my Wild Wasabi ink pad.
The wheel was rolled with Positively Pink craft ink onto pretty in pink card stock.  I embossed it with Iridescent Ice EP.  The top present image is up on dimensionals.

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Gina K Designs- Simple Pleasures, Gina K Designs- Square Borders, SU! All About Christmas wheel
Paper:  Wild Wasabi, Pretty In Pink, White
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Positively Pink Craft, Black
Accessories: Iridescent Ice EP, Giga Scalloped Square Punch, Mega Square Punch, Brads, Dimensionals

Until Next Time….Happy Creating!!!
