6. Bobbie –Infinite Goodness
13. Janice Webb–Delight In Life
5. Janice C–Fresh Cuts

I’m sorry these were posted so late! I’m not sure what kept me from posting these Thursday night but I have been at the Women Of Faith Conference this weekend and I haven’t been home for the last couple of days! Those of you who won, please contact me with your snail mail address so I can get these sent out to you! You can submit them to me via the “contact me” tab at the top of the page! Thanks so much and enjoy your candy!

I’m so sorry for all of the headaches lately with my blog. At this point it really doesn’t make it fun any more!!!! I would like to let you know that because of all the hassles I have had with Feedblitz, I am going to cancel my Feedblitz account.

Please bookmark my blog so you can find it easily and in a few days I may try to start from scratch again with Feedblitz. I think the issues are from trying to transfer from one blog address to the next and something isn’t quite working. I have tried and tried to figure it out with no luck!

In a week or so, I may try to start from scratch and see if I can get this thing working correctly like it did with my first blog address. I think this is the only way to solve the issues. I have been losing many subscribers (like over 150) within the last week or so and I know if has to be from this mess! I hate to frustrate you any more. I will be continuing to update my blog so keep checking in.

Once I have this canceled and started up again you will be able to sign up again from my blog page. I will try to get the option posted on the sidebar. Already you can sign up through a reader by clicking the little orange square at the top right of my blog banner.

Once again, I am so sorry for the mess…….

NOW….I think that those that still with me at this point deserve the chance to get some blog candy!!!! Here is what I have to give away!

blog-candy42

Me Too! Me Too!!

Everyone’s giving away candy and I want to give some away too!!  I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve had a little blog candy to share!  Here for you is a Memory Makers Creative Layout Variations book.  It has a lot of really neat layouts in it!  Sometimes it’s hard to give these things away because I might want to look at it someday!!!  I’m not really much of a scrapbooker, although I love to look at everyone elses!!!  Also, there is a Fiskars tag punch.  I do have one of these so I won’t miss this one as much!  This is the perfect size for those one word stamp sets like Amazing to Zany or Everyday Flexible Phrases.

Since everyone else wanted Thanksgiving info, I’m going to speed on ahead to Christmas!  I think that has to be my favorite holiday and then Easter next!  Mostly because without Christmas we wouldn’t have Easter!

So, post a comment and let me know what your favorite Christmas song and your favorite Christmas Tradition.

We travel every year back home and stay quite busy throughout the week that we’re there.  We don’t really get to have our own Christmas traditions here because we only have a week to squeeze in everyone else.  So I guess you could say that one of our traditions is to travel to Northern Iowa every year to spend the week with family!

We are starting a new tradition this year though.  It will start Dec 1 and continue through Dec 25.  We actually will probably start a few days earlier than that because we will probably head out on the 22nd.  I purchased a devotional and puzzle that takes us from the 1st to the 25th and prepares us for Christmas.  We haven’t done this before, but I figured it will really create some good quality family time!  It’s called the Passion Tree.  I will post more on that in another segment!

Please only one entry per person!  I will use random.org to announce the winner for this on the 27th at 7:00 pm central time!

Blog_candy
Here is is!  This round of Blog Candy includes 1. SU Hostess set titled Reason To Smile, 2. One set of clear stamps, 3. Spool of large sheer ribbon, 4. Spool of smaller sheer ribbon and 5. Hemp Cord

To enter to win, you must leave a comment here, and tell me about your favorite color combination to use.  It can be in scrapbooking or card making.

Create a card or layout with those colors and email me a copy!  I will post these popular color combos and the submissions to go with them!  It’s kind of a challenge and a giveaway all in one!

Your submissions need to be emailed to me by June 4th!  That gives you the weekend to work on them!  I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Putting together colors has been another one of my challenges in this hobby!  I’m not really the "creative type", but I’m great at CASING!  I haven’t done as much casing lately, as I’m getting better at putting things together on my own.  But that’s hard when you don’t have a creative brain!  I really enjoy the process of card making and find it relaxing, when I’m not in a RUT!  Well, right now I feel like I’m in a rut, so the color combos will be beneficial to me and when I post the submissions, I hope they will be beneficial to others as well!

Thank you, my faithful readers!  My goal for next week is to put together another tutorial from your suggestions offered previously!

Until Next Time….Happy Creating!!!

Congratulations to Kristine Coombes!  She was the winner of the Blog candy this round!  Thank you to everyone who shared their favorite winter activity!

Some of them made me jealous…..like this post from Kelly……

"My favorite thing about winter is when the family goes out back for the
day for some good old fashioned fun. Hubby gets the old snowmobile out
and pulls the kids and/or I around in a sled that’s tied to the back.
We build a fire in our fire pit even though there’s 4′ of snow back
there at times and eat smores. We also have hills that we sled down as
well. It’s a great day outdoors and will hopefully be very memorable
for the kids someday. There’s nothing like coming inside afterward for
some hot chocolate and marshmallow fluff with some peanut butter toast!
YUMMMMMMMMM"

Doesn’t that sound like fun?!?!?  My kids would love it!  I remember riding the 4-wheeler around and pulling a sled behind it when I was younger too!  What a Blast!!!

Keep visiting often!  The next round of candy will be offered for the 10,000th hit!   The more often you visit the sooner that will be! 🙂

Until Next Time……Happy Creating!!!
