Way Behind!!!

Sarah, I’m sorry it took me so long to complete this!!!

So, Sarah over at Craftaholics Anonymous has nominated
me for the You Make Me Smile Award. So the way this works is–> link
to your tagger’s blog, post these rules, share 7 facts about yourself
(random or weird is ok!), tag 7 more people and leave a comment on
their blog to let them know they have been tagged.

So I’m supposed to share 7 facts about myself.  I’ll give it a whirl!

1.  I ate some brownies the other night that were made with Spinach and Carrots.  They were actually good!

2.  I really think I have a stamping addiction!

3.  Embellishments actually scream at me from the shelves and beg me to buy them!  Too bad I get a measly allowance!!! (Having an allowance is the only way to keep my husband from wondering where all our money went!!)

4.  Diet Coke is my beverage of choice!

5. I love to eat a couple of Dove Dark Chocolates at bed time!

6.  Stamping always comes before housework!  How do I find that balance???

7.  I sewed on a card for the first time this week!  That was a lot of fun!!

8.  Here’s an extra one for good measure!!  I recieved the new Gina K stamps yesterday and they are awesome!!!

Ok, I know those were lame, but I don’t have a lot to tell!  Now maybe if you asked my sister, that would be a whole different story!!! 🙂

I know this has been going around for a while, so if you haven’t been tagged yet, consider yourself tagged!  Thanks for playing!

Time Well Spent…

Thank You Stampin’ Up!  SU! decided to thank us demos with a free stamp set.  This is a preview of one of the level 3 hostess sets from the upcoming Spring/Summer collection that will be available in Jan!  Stay tuned for the retirement list as well.  That is available Dec 1st.

I created this layout for Beate’s weekend sketch. It’s not exact, but it’s close!  I know I’ve mentioned before that I start out with a layout in mind but it always changes as I’m putting the card together!  Oh well!
I ran the Bashful Blue mat through my cuttlebug using the Textile EF.  I really like the elegance that it adds.  The background paper is some that I picked up at Archiver’s the last time I was there.  I think it’s from Daisy D’s.  It’s really hard to keep track of the brands and the names of the paper!

Supplies Used:

Stamps:  SU! Time Well Spent
Paper: Daisy D’s DP, Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue, Rose Red, White
Ink: Black, SU! Watercolor pencils
Accessories: Aqua Painter, Sakura Stardust Glitter Gel Pen, Wild Wasabi Ribbon, Black Brads, Dimensionals, Cuttlebug, CM Circle Cutting System, SU! Scalloped Punch

Until Next Time….Happy Creating!!!

P.S.  The muffins were really good!  My son even ate it and liked it!  He had decided that he doesn’t like pumpkin!  I even got him to eat some brownies that were made with spinach and carrots!!!  Maybe I’ll post that recipe later for all of you who have picky eating kids!!
